- conducting due diligence on IP portfolios, including conducting searches for relevant IP, reviewing chain-of-title issues, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the IP rights within the portfolio and evaluating risks associated with the portfolio
- advising on matters relating to the negotiation of IP provisions of the transaction documents
- updating chain-of-title to IP that is the subject of a transaction
- recording and discharging security interests against IP
